Legal Meaning

Utility asset means infrastructure owned or managed by a utility provider that delivers essential services to land or buildings. Utility assets include water mains, sewer pipes, stormwater infrastructure, electricity cables, gas pipelines, telecommunications infrastructure, and associated equipment that must be protected and remain accessible for operation, maintenance, and future upgrades.
