A plain English explanation of this ACT planning and property term.
“Registered” refers to the legal status of a document, interest, or dealing after it has been accepted and recorded by the ACT Land Titles Office (LTO) on the ACT Land Titles Register.
Formally accepted and recorded by the responsible government register. For a deposited plan or units plan, registration means the document has passed the required lodgement process and now forms part of the official Land Titles Register. A plan can be professionally prepared but still be only proposed or unregistered.
