An assessment outcome is a statement of the desired planning outcome against which a development application is assessed to determine whether the proposed development complies with the Territory Plan.
An assessment outcome describes the result or planning performance a proposal must achieve. Applicants should explain how the design achieves the outcome using plans, evidence and design reasoning; merely stating compliance is usually not enough.
