The process under the Unit Titles Act 2001 by which a registered units plan creates separately titled units and any common property.

Plain English

Unit titling creates separate titles for units within a development and identifies any common property. It generally operates over one underlying Crown lease, with shared property administered through an owners corporation. Planning approval, completed building work, occupancy certification and unit-title assessment may be required before registration.
