demolition means to wholly or partly dismantle or damage a building or structure to the extent that it no longer can function as it’s approved purpose.
Demolition means taking apart or damaging all or part of a building or structure to the point that it can no longer perform its approved function. It can therefore include substantial partial demolition, not only completely clearing a building from the block. Minor removal of finishes or fittings is not automatically demolition, but the proposed work should be checked against the approval and building requirements.
