A Deposited Plan is the mechanism to divide land in the ACT pursuant to the Districts Act 2002. Other legislation affecting Deposited Plans include, but are not limited to:- Surveyors Act 2007 - Surveyors (Surveyor-General) Practice Directions 2023- Surveyor-General Guidelines
A formal survey plan showing legal parcels, boundaries and identifying information. It is prepared to the Surveyor-General's standards and lodged for registration in the land-title system. Once registered, it is part of the official record used to identify the block; it is not the same as a contour survey, architectural site plan or proposed subdivision sketch.
