Habitable (including habitable room) means a room within a dwelling capable of being lawfully used for the normal domestic activities of living, sleeping, cooking, or eating, and:a) includes a bedroom, study, living room, family room, kitchen, dining room, home theatre, rumpus room; butb) does not include a bathroom, laundry, hallway, garage, or other spaces of a specialised nature occupied neither frequently or for extended periods.
A habitable room is a room intended for normal, regular domestic activities such as living, sleeping, cooking, eating or studying. Bedrooms, studies, kitchens, dining rooms, family rooms, home theatres and rumpus rooms are included. Bathrooms, laundries, hallways and garages are excluded because they are specialised or are not normally occupied for long periods.
