Legal Meaning

End of section block means a block that is created through the consolidation of blocks, is located at the furthest end of a section and typically has three street frontages.

Plain English

An end-of-section block has an unusual relationship to surrounding roads and can have multiple front boundaries. Front-setback, access, landscaping and streetscape controls may therefore apply differently from a typical mid-block site.
