Subdivision is the formal planning, surveying and registration process that creates or changes legal parcels or titles. The current Subdivision Policy covers ordinary block subdivision, unit-title subdivision, boundary adjustments and consolidations. A fence, separate driveway or second dwelling does not by itself subdivide the land.
